Abstract:
A method for controlling an orthogonal encoder using multiple zero-point signals. The method comprises the following steps: selecting a corresponding pulse accumulation mode and number-of-pole-pairs mode according to the magnitude of a rotation angle; setting an expected zero-point position by means of a controller for an orthogonal encoder; and finally, by means of a counting mode of the orthogonal encoder, carrying out such a setting that the pulse width of a Z-phase zero-point signal is unchanged within a certain rotation speed, thereby guaranteeing the stability of the pulse width. By means of the method for controlling an orthogonal encoder using multiple zero-point signals, the adaptation of a multi-pole electric motor and the dynamic correction of a multi-line electric motor are realized, and the position reading accuracy degree is improved for different operating conditions.
