Abstract:
Provided is a method for controlling a power generation device and a pumped-storage power generation device each of which comprises a prime mover directly coupled to a generator or a rotor of a generator motor and each of which carries out speed control by giving, to the prime mover, a guide vane opening degree command that has been calculated by a rotation speed control device provided with a proportional control element, an integral control element, and a differential control element. In said method, a first upper limit value limiting function determined in accordance with an output signal of a load limiting device which is included in an output runaway prevention circuit with an integral control function that is provided in the integral control element is multiplied by a second upper limit value limiting function determined in accordance with a rotation speed deviation which changes in the range up to a certain value of 1 or less on the basis of the difference between the rotation speed corresponding to a commercial power system frequency and the rotor rotation speed to limit output of the guide vane opening degree command by output of accumulation in the integral control function when the rotor rotation speed exceeds the rotation speed. The difference between the integral control function and an output value of the runaway prevention circuit is fed back to the input of the integral control function, and subtraction from the rotation speed deviation is performed to forcibly reduce the accumulation in the integral control function.
