Abstract:

A method for controlling the release amount of a detergent, and a washing machine. The method comprises: dividing a detergent box (10) into N independent spaces (1, 2, 3, 4, 5), wherein each space is used for storing a detergent of different concentrations; assigning a concentration level Ci to each space, wherein a space storing a higher concentration of detergent has a lower concentration level; selecting one of the spaces where the detergent is stored for detergent release, and acquiring the concentration level C of the space; acquiring the weight m of laundry; and calculating the release amount Vn of the detergent by using the formula Vn = 1.25*m*(C + 1). Two factors, detergent concentration and laundry weight, are comprehensively considered, and a formula calculation method is used to determine the release amount of a detergent, so that precise control over the usage amount of the detergent is realized, the problem of an excessive release amount of a concentrated detergent easily caused by determining the release amount of the detergent based only on the weight of laundry can be prevented, and the problems of detergent residue, increased foam and multiple instances of rinsing being required due to an excessive release amount are solved.
