Abstract:
The method for controlling a SCARA robot having a camera attached to a second arm, involves controlling the position of the camera using position parameters that represent positional relationships between links, and orientation parameters that represent orientation relationships between the links with a first arm, a second arm, and a shaft serving as a first link, a second link, and a third link, respectively. In the method, the inclination of an optical axis with respect to a third axis is measured as a camera attachment angle, and a correction value, which is based on the measured camera attachment angle, is registered as an orientation parameter for transformation from the second link to the third link.
