Title:
METHOD FOR CONVERTING ENERGY IN A THERMAL SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING THE TEMPERATURE OF A BUILDING, AND APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2007112978
Kind Code:
B1
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for converting energy in a thermal system for controlling the temperature of a building, in which method steam is expelled from a solution mixture containing a solvent and an additive dissolved in said solvent in a solar air collector via an evaporation surface, and energy which can be used to control temperature is stored in a storage device which has a reserve of a solution mixture containing a solvent and an additive dissolved in said solvent, wherein in one loading process the storage device is loaded with thermal energy by a liquid heat exchange medium, which is optionally formed from the solution mixture in the storage device, being heated up by means of thermal energy which is emitted from the heated air to the heat exchanger in the channel device, and is loaded with thermochemical energy by the air in the air collector being humidified with portions of solution mixture which is introduced in the air collector and a concentrate of the solution mixture, which is reduced at least by the portions absorbed by the air in the solar air collector, being captured and supplied to the storage device, as a result of which a concentrated solution mixture is formed.
