Abstract:
Provided is an additive manufacturing method which repeats a bead formation step for forming a bead layer in which weld beads are placed side by side, an impurity identification step for identifying a region in which an impurity has been generated on the surface of the bead layer formed in the bead formation step, and a thickness estimation step for estimating the thickness of the impurity in the region identified in the impurity identification step. After execution of the thickness estimation step, a removal step for removing the impurity from the surface of the bead layer is executed selectively in accordance with the estimated thickness of the impurity.
