Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for damping the mechanical vibrations in the drive train of an internal combustion engine. The inventive method comprises the following steps: detecting vibration induced in the drive train, and adjusting the firing angle in the drive train when a vibration is induced in the drive train in order to damp the vibration in the drive train, the firing angle being adjusted flexibly.
