Abstract:
Provided are a method for dealing with the occurrence of a beam failure, and a terminal. The method comprises: if a beam failure occurs at an SCell, triggering the sending of at least one of BFRQ information and a scheduling request (SR) of a BFRQ, wherein a terminal has at least one of the following features for the SCell: if a first condition is satisfied, prohibiting the triggering of the sending of at least one of subsequent BFRQ information and a subsequent SR of a BFRQ; allowing the triggering of the sending of an SR of the BFRQ at least once; restricting the triggering of the sending of BFRQ information once; if a second condition is satisfied, a BFI counter not performing counting; and if a third condition is satisfied, resetting the BFI counter. The third condition comprises at least one of the following: a beam failure recovery being successful, prohibiting the triggering of the sending of at least one of subsequent BFRQ information and a subsequent SR of a BFRQ, and relieving the prohibition against triggering the sending of at least one of the subsequent BFRQ information and the subsequent SR of the BFRQ.
