Abstract:
The present invention relates to a seawater acclimation method in which seawater is gradually introduced to trout fry so that the salt concentration thereof is adjusted. If the seawater acclimation method of the present invention is used, the mortality rate in a trout fry stage can be lowered, and since the seawater acclimation is possible in a fry stage, logistical costs can be lowered. In addition, feed containing salt is supplied prior to seawater acclimation to lower mortality rates, and all-female triploids are produced though an eco-friendly method, and thus a method for further lowering the mortality rate, through seawater acclimation by using all-female triploid fry has been developed.
