Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a method for dehydrogenation esterification of an aryl phenol and an aromatic aldehyde by means of a light/nickel dual-catalysis system in the absence of an oxidant and an external photosensitizer. Specifically, the method comprises: under the protection of an inert gas, adding an aldehyde, an aryl phenol, a nickel catalyst, a ligand and an alkali to a reaction container provided with a stirring device, then adding a solvent, and performing a conventional stirring reaction under the irradiation of a 365-nm LED light source to obtain an aromatic ester compound. The whole process of the present invention has atomic economic benefits, is efficient and is also easy to operate, and provides a new way for synthesizing an aromatic ester compound.
