Abstract:
Method of designing electrical plants, comprising the steps of: - providing a portable personal electronic apparatus (100) comprising a processing unit (102) and a transmission unit (104) arranged to send data packets; - providing an elaborator (106) comprising a receiving and processing unit (108) arranged to receive data packets, the elaborator (106) being arranged to execute a design program for electrical plants; - acquiring (2) at least one real background image of a portion of a wall of at least one pre-existing room for which the electrical plant is to be designed; - superimposing (4) on the real background image at least one complementary image representing at least one predetermined electrical element to be placed in the room, thus obtaining a composite image; - associating with the composite image additional data representing details of the position of the electrical element; - creating (6), by means of the processing unit (102), a design data packet representing the composite image and the additional data; - sending (8), through the transmission unit (104), the design data packet to the receiving and processing unit (108) of the elaborator (106); - producing in the elaborator (106), starting from the design data packet, a reference file containing information relating to the electrical element, the reference file being associated with the design program executed by the elaborator (106); - designing an electrical plant by positioning the complementary image on a two- or three-dimensional plan of the room held in the elaborator (106), the complementary image being placed in the plan based on the position in which the complementary image is placed on the background image of the composite image, and based on the information contained in the additional data.
