Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a method for designing a substrate integrated waveguide antenna. A substrate integrated waveguide antenna comprises a waveguide assembly, which is composed of several cylindrical conductors arranged in an array, and dielectric substrates, which are connected to two axial ends of the waveguide assembly, wherein one dielectric substrate is connected to a coaxial cable. The method comprises the following steps: S1, calculating a fundamental solution of a scattered wave; S2, further transforming the fundamental solution of the scattered wave in S1 by using multiple boundary conditions; and S3, converting a calculation of an electromagnetic field into a calculation problem regarding cylindrical coordinates in a plane by using a moments method based on an entire-domain basis function. In the present invention, during the analysis of electromagnetic wave radiation, the main problem of antenna design is converted into a calculation problem regarding cylindrical coordinates by using a moments method based on an entire-domain basis function, thereby greatly reducing the data volume of simulation calculation.
