A method for detecting the moisture permeability of an organic film (11), comprising: coating an organic material to form a film, and forming an organic film (11) by means of baking treatment; providing a detection container (2), comprising a chamber (20), an air inlet (21) and an air outlet (22), and a moisture controller (23); placing the organic film (11) in the chamber (20), such that the organic film (11) adsorbs the water vapour in the chamber (20); connecting the air inlet (21) of the detection container (2) to a gas supply apparatus (3) and connecting the air outlet (22) of the detection container (2) to a water vapour detection apparatus (4); the gas supply apparatus (3) inputs dry air into the chamber (20) via the air inlet (21); the dry air flows through the chamber (20), and the air in the chamber (20) is introduced into the water vapour detection apparatus (4) via the air outlet (22), such that the water vapour detection apparatus (4) calculates the relative moisture of the air introduced by the dry gas; the difference between the predetermined moisture of the chamber (20) and the relative moisture of the introduced air is the moisture permeability of the organic film (11).
