Abstract:
 Provided are a method for elucidating a polynucleotide, which is a novel responsible gene of cancer, and detecting said polynucleotide or polypeptide coded thereby on the basis of the finding, a kit and primer set for the detection, a method for screening an inhibitor of the polypeptide, and a pharmaceutical composition for cancer treatment containing the inhibitor. This detection method detects a NTRK 3 fusion protein or a fusion gene for encoding said fusion protein, and a ETV6 fusion protein or a fusion gene for encoding said fusion protein, in a sample originating in a digestive organ from a subject.
