Title:
METHOD FOR DETECTING TARGET SUBSTANCE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/080137
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This method is for detecting a target substance (110) in a sample, and includes: a step for introducing into a well a sample, a first specifically binding substance (120) that is labeled with a first single-stranded nucleic acid fragment (121) and that is for the target substance (110), and a second specifically binding substance (130) that is labeled with a second single-stranded nucleic acid fragment (131) and that is for the target substance (110), so that if the target substance (110) is present in the sample, a complex (100) including the target substance (110), the first specifically binding substance (120), and the second specifically binding substance (130) is formed, and at least a portion of the first single-stranded nucleic acid fragment (121) and at least a portion of the second single-stranded nucleic acid fragment (131) hybridize to form double-stranded nucleic acid (140); and a step for detecting the formation of the double-stranded nucleic acid (140). The detection of the formation of the double-stranded nucleic acid (140) indicates the presence of the target substance (110).
