Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for detection of unmethylation-specific probe-based MGMT gene promoter methylation and a detection kit using same. The method and kit can detect MGMT gene promoter methylation conveniently with excellent sensitivity and accuracy through first-step real-time polymerase chain reaction even when bisulfite is not applied, and thus can be advantageously used in the fields of diagnosing various diseases including cancer and determining drug responses.
