Abstract:
According to the present invention, a method for determining and compensating for the blockage of the flue of a combustion apparatus comprises the steps of: initializing the system after the combustion apparatus has been installed and power for the combustion apparatus has been switched on; resetting the reference value of the ventilator RPM for determining the blockage of the flue of the combustion apparatus; and determining if the flue of the combustion apparatus is blocked by comparing the measured RPM of the ventilator and the reset reference value. Thus, it is possible to prevent the problem of a combustion apparatus generating an abnormal signal despite the combustion apparatus operating normally.
