Abstract:
A method for determining a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bit, and a communication method and apparatus. The method for determining the CRC bit comprises: obtaining an information bit, determining the length L of a check bit according to a first correspondence, and determining a first check bit according to a first CRC polynomial, wherein L is a natural number; the first correspondence comprises the correspondence among code length information of data to be transmitted, length information of the information bit, and the length of the check bit; the data to be transmitted comprises the information bit; the highest power of a term in the first CRC polynomial is Lmax, and Lmax is a positive integer greater than or equal to L. A check bit having a length appropriate to a code length and a code rate can be flexibly generated so as to improve communication performance.
