Abstract:
It is intended to provide a method for determining tongue cancer capable of determining the malignancy of tongue cancer objectively and accurately; a method for analyzing a tongue cancer tissue specimen; and a kit for analyzing a tongue cancer tissue specimen. It is intended to provide a method for determining tongue cancer characterized by measuring the mRNA levels of an integrin family gene in a tongue cancer tissue specimen and a control gene and determining the malignancy of tongue cancer based on a ratio of the mRNA level of the integrin family gene to the mRNA level of the control gene; a method for analyzing a tongue cancer tissue specimen characterized by comprising the steps of measuring the mRNA levels of an integrin family gene in a tongue cancer tissue specimen and a control gene and linking a ratio of the mRNA level of the integrin family gene to the mRNA level of the control gene to clinical data; and a kit for analyzing a tongue cancer tissue specimen.
