Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for developing a carbon-based fertilizer utilizing swine manure for soil improvement. The method performs hydrothermal carbonization on swine manure in an anoxic condition to prepare the carbon-based fertilizer utilizing swine manure. Compared with a traditional fertilizer, the carbon-based fertilizer utilizing swine manure of the present invention has a porous structure, a larger specific surface area, a higher pH value and a good cation exchange capability, and contains a large amount of nutrients required by plants, thereby facilitating circulation of soil nutrients and growth of plants. Under a hydrothermal condition, preparation of the carbon-based fertilizer utilizing swine manure of the present invention only requires a temperature of 180-260ºC. Therefore, the carbon-based fertilizer utilizing swing manure requires less energy consumption, achieves a lower cost, and facilitates utilization of waste biomass.
