Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and device for accessing a target cell,, used for providing a network slice service area identifier and network slice configuration information for a terminal device to enable the terminal device to access a target cell. The method in the embodiments of the present application comprises: a terminal device acquiring a network slice service area identifier from a serving access network device corresponding to a serving cell where the terminal device is located, the network slice service area identifier being used for indicating the area served by the network slice; the terminal device determining a target cell according to network slice configuration information and the network slice service area identifier, the network slice configuration information comprising a corresponding relationship between a network slice, an area and a service; and the terminal device accessing the target cell.
