Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application is a method for acquiring data. A first device as a network management device can generate a first message comprising a first keyword, the first message being used for instructing a second device to determine a first path in which the second device stores parameters determined by the first keyword and to send the first path to the first device. The second device may be a device managed by the first device. Then, the first device can send the first message to the second device. After receiving the first message, the second device can determine the first path in which the second device stores parameters determined by the first keyword, and carry the determined first path in a second message and sends same to the first device. Compared with a network manager querying a product manual of the second device, it is more efficient for the second device to determine the first path according to the first keyword. Thus, the present application can improve the efficiency of determining the first path, and accordingly, can improve the efficiency of generating a subscription request by the first device.
