Abstract:
A method for aggregating ports, which includes the following steps: when local end builds a static Link Aggregation Group, it judges whether there is a port receiving the aggregating message from the opposite end; if yes, then determines the port state according to the link aggregation control protocol standard; or else, then holds state for the port loading business. The present invention also discloses a device for aggregating ports, which includes a static port aggregation process unit, an partner port state detection unit and a port state set unit. This invention realizes the building of static LAG without effecting on original port business; and can accelerate the change of the partner port state, and reduce the effect service time when cancelling the static LAG or member port.
