Abstract:
Provided is a method and device for allocating a dynamic frequency for a secondary user in a cognitive radio network. A dynamic frequency allocation device for allocating a dynamic frequency for a secondary user in a cognitive radio network according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an opportunity (OP) map generation unit for generating an OP map showing a communication success opportunity of a secondary transmitter desiring to acquire a frequency-access chance in each area of a cognitive radio network by using one or more selected from spectrum sensing information including identification information, location information, and a sense result matrix received from a spectrum sensor having terminated sensing, an access request message including identification information, location information, and operational band information received from the secondary transmitter, and transmission power and density of a primary transmitter; and a response message generation unit for generating a response message including a channel having the highest communication success opportunity among channels accessible from the location of the secondary transmitter and the communication success opportunity thereof on the basis of the generated map, wherein the communication success opportunity is a probability that a signal-to-interface-plus-noise ratio (SINR) exceeds a predefined reference value θ* at a particular location, and the OP map showing a communication success opportunity in each of the area includes a communication success opportunity of the secondary transmitter in an area in which the spectrum sensor is not installed.
