Abstract:
According to various embodiments, a component amount measurement device for measuring skin component amount information about a user comprises: a skin measurement unit for measuring the skin of a user; and a skin component amount calculation unit for calculating the component amount for a target component in the skin of the user, wherein the skin measurement unit comprises a light-emitting unit that includes at least one light source and a light detection unit that includes at least one light detector, the light-emitting unit includes a first light source for irradiating the surface of the skin with a first light having a plurality of wavelengths, the light detection unit includes a first light detector for detecting the first light irradiated from the first light source, and the skin component amount calculation unit measures the component amount for the target component on the basis of a light signal of the first light absorbed into the skin and scattered thereon.
