Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and device for assisting renal disease diagnosis. According to an aspect of the present invention, provided is a method for assisting diagnosis of a subject renal disease by using a fundus image, the method comprising the steps of: obtaining a subject fundus image which is a captured image of the fundus of a subject; obtaining renal disease diagnosis assistance information of the subject in accordance with the subject fundus image, by means of a renal disease diagnosis assistance neural network model obtaining diagnosis assistance information to be used in diagnosing the subject renal disease in accordance with the fundus image, on the basis of the subject fundus image; and outputting the renal disease diagnosis assistance information of the subject, wherein the renal disease diagnosis assistance information comprises at least one from among: level information comprising a level selected from a plurality of levels indicating the risk of subject renal disease; score information which is numerical information for determining the risk score of the subject renal disease; and risk information indicating whether or not the subject belongs to a subject renal disease risk group.
