Abstract:
A method for call admission control of communication system, includes these
steps: after receiving the service request of user, the communication system
accounts the interface bandwidth which will be occupied after said service is
accessed, basing on the active factors corresponding to the services that requesting
to access; while the said bandwidth gained through account is beyond the maximal
bandwidth of the said interface, rejecting the access of the service of said user.
A device for call admission control of communication system, includes: access
control unit, active factor setting unit and bandwidth account unit. The present
invention,through setting the active factors respectively for the vary services,
which accounts the call admission control bandwidth on the active factors, can
increase the interface transmitting bandwidth utilization efficiency, and
economize the network operation cost.
