Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention provide a method and device for communication of an LTE system on an unlicensed frequency band, which relate to the field of network technologies. The method comprises: reserving a channel resource of an unlicensed frequency band when it is determined that an LTE frame needs to be sent to a second device, and broadcasting a WLAN-format control signaling to reserve the channel resource, wherein the control signaling is used to inform a third device in a WLAN standard that the channel resource is occupied, so that the third device stops contending for the channel resource; controlling a first device to be in an LTE standard; and sending the LTE frame to the second device on the reserved channel resource of the unlicensed frequency band. According to the invention, before LTE transmission, other WLAN receivers are informed that a subsequent unlicensed frequency band will be occupied, such that said WLAN receivers are not involved in channel contention. Therefore, subsequent LTE transmission will experience less interference.
