A method and a device for performing downlink transmission and reception and uplink transmission and reception in a wireless communication system are provided. A base station transmits subband configuration information for full duplex communication to a terminal. The terminal performs downlink reception or uplink transmission through a subband based on the received subband configuration information, wherein the subband configuration information includes time axis resource configuration information, the time axis resource configuration information includes reference subcarrier spacing (SCS) configuration information and at least one piece of pattern configuration information, and each piece of pattern configuration information of the at least one piece of pattern configuration information includes period information.
