Abstract:
Provided are a method and device for constructing map data. The method comprises: acquiring a first basic safety information message of a vehicle, the first basic safety information message comprising an information message of the vehicle collected when a safety event occurs; acquiring, from the first basic safety information message, first basic safety information data, the first basic safety information data comprising parameter information and extended safety information about the vehicle, the parameter information about the vehicle being used for indicating a driving state and an appearance form of the vehicle, the extended safety information being used for indicating a safety state of the vehicle and a road; performing model processing according to the first basic safety information data so as to generate the map data. The method applies a V2X network to an automatic driving system, so that the driving safety of an automatic drive vehicle can be improved.
