Abstract:
The present electronic device comprises: a memory storing a multi-Light-Field Unit(LFU) structure in which a plurality of light fields are disposed in a lattice structure; and a processor for using the multi-LFU structure to generate a 360 degree image on the basis of a view position when the view position is determined in the lattice structure, wherein the processor selects the LFU to which the view position belongs from the multi-LFU structure, allocates a rendering Field-of-View (FOV) in units of a preset angle on the basis of the view position, generates a plurality of view images on the basis of the allocated FOV and a plurality of light fields forming the selected LFU, and generates a 360 degree image by merging the plurality of generated view images.
