Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for controlling the braking power transmitted onto a brake disk on an axle of a railway vehicle, especially a high-speed railway vehicle, by means of a caliper, the braking power being controlled depending on the vehicle speed. The vehicle speed is determined indirectly via the relative wind and the impact pressure is detected to determine the relative wind and is forwarded to a control device as the switching pressure or control pressure. The invention further relates to a control device for a braking system of a railway vehicle, especially a high-speed railway vehicle, for controlling the braking power transmitted onto a brake disk by means of a caliper and to a braking system comprising said control device.
