Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method and a device for controlling downlink service admission. The method includes: receiving an admission request message initiated by a downlink service, the message carries a service transmission rate of the downlink service (101); according to the service transmission rate of the downlink service, determining the number of Resource Blocks (RBs) required for performing the downlink service (102); if the number of remaining RBs of a cell is no less than the number of RBs required for performing the downlink service, determining the power required for performing the downlink service according to the number of RBs required for performing the downlink service and radio environment of the cell (103); if remaining downlink power of the cell is no less than the power required for performing the downlink service, accessing the downlink service (104). The present invention ensures performing admission judgment for service to be accessed accurately, even when scheduling of Media Access Control (MAC) layer is insufficient. So, the present invention ensures that transmission demands such as error rate can be meet after a service accesses into a cell, thereby increasing system stability.
