Abstract:
A method and device for controlling the driving of an autonomous mobile robot, relating to the field of intelligent logistics. The autonomous mobile robot at least switches between a navigation mode and a yield mode for working. The method comprises the following steps: S1: during autonomous driving of an autonomous mobile robot in a navigation mode according to a preset track, detecting an obstacle in the surrounding environment of the autonomous mobile robot and/or in the preset track to be used for driving; and S2: controlling, according to the detected obstacle, the autonomous mobile robot to selectively switch from the navigation mode to a yield mode, wherein in the yield mode, the autonomous mobile robot is controlled to avoid and stop towards one side of a road, so as to leave space for the obstacle.
