Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and device for data transmission. The method for data transmission comprises: a first transmission node transmits data on n orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols; the number of bits that the data comprises is greater than 1, the data is encoded then mapped onto the n OFDM symbols, and n is an integer greater than 1; a first cyclic prefix is comprised before the first OFDM symbol; the OFDM symbols other than the first OFDM symbol either comprise no cyclic prefix or comprise a second cyclic prefix; the length of the first cyclic prefix is greater than or equal to the length of the second cyclic prefix.
