Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a method and device for data update, and a vehicle: in response to a bootstrapper update request, detecting whether a valid first bootstrapper is stored in a first storage area and/or a second storage area; if a valid first bootstrapper is stored in the first storage area, then setting a jump instruction as directing to the first storage area; running the first bootstrapper, and updating in sequence a bootstrapper in the second storage area and that in the first storage area to a second bootstrapper. The bootstrappers are stored respectively in the two storage areas and, during a data update process, when the valid first bootstrapper is present in the first storage area, then the bootstrapper in the second storage area is updated to the second bootstrapper first, and then the bootstrapper in the first storage area is updated to the second bootstrapper. Even if a malfunction occurs during the data update process, when a reset is executed, the bootstrapper in either storage area is always valid, thus ensuring the normal operation of an electronic control unit.
