Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for deriving an intra-prediction mode, and an image decoding device. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a method for deriving an intra-prediction mode, the method including: a step for acquiring, on the basis of reference line information indicating any one among a plurality of reference lines, most probable mode (MPM) information indicating whether an intra-prediction mode of the current block is included in an MPM list in which a planar mode is not included; a step for deducing, on the basis of the reference line information and the MPM information, planer information indicating whether the intra-prediction mode of the current block corresponds to the planar mode; and a step for using the planar information to derive the intra-prediction mode of the current block.
