A method and device for detecting and controlling automobile exhaust. The method for detecting and controlling automobile exhaust comprises the steps of: receiving automobile exhaust data sent from an automobile; analyzing the automobile exhaust data, determining whether the automobile exhaust meets automobile emission standards according to an analysis result; if the automobile exhaust does not meet the automobile emission standards, sending a control instruction to the automobile so as to control automobile exhaust emission. The device for detecting and controlling automobile exhaust comprises a receiving module (10), a determining module (20) and a first transmission module (30). The foregoing method and device are able to detect whether the automobile exhaust meets the emission standards in a random manner or a real-time manner, and in the case that the automobile exhaust emission standards are not met, the present invention may effectively reduce the amount of exhaust emission.
