Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETECTING INFRARED SOURCES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2005/010842
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for detecting heat sources generated in a detected area, especially for detecting infrared sources. The method is mostly used in such circumstances as fire fighting , technology guard or the like . Through electric imaging scanning (or called “staring”) in a range of appointed infrared waveband and analysing for facula of infrared sources an accurate determination about whether the detected heatsources tend to a fire or not can be made, and the positions of heat-sources according to coordinate and changes of heat sources can be obtained exactly. With this method, a remote detection and isolated detection can be realized. The invention also relates to a device for detecting infrared sources comprising a main-controller and a detector including a photosensitive imaging chip,a filter, an assembly of optical lens and a micro- processor.
