Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method and device for encrypting information of an application. The method includes: during a running process of an application and upon monitoring a user has triggered a starting command for encrypting control which corresponds to a specific function of the application, starting an information encrypting function corresponding to the encrypting control; and based on the started information encrypting function and according to an operating event triggered by the user, executing an operation of one or both of: encrypting and decrypting a portion of information corresponding to the application to which the operating event points. The embodiments of the present disclosure have the advantage of only encrypting specific function module/modules of an application, without affecting normal use of other functions in the application.
