Abstract:
Provided in the invention are a method and a device for improving terminal battery-life capability. The method comprises the following steps: detecting a current temperature of the battery; determining a target maximum power consumption when the current temperature of the battery is smaller than a preset temperature, wherein the target maximum power consumption is a maximum power consumption which can be supported currently by the battery; determining a current power consumption of a system, wherein the current power consumption of the system comprises a sum of current power consumption of each module of which power consumption cannot be adjusted and a sum of current power consumption of each module of which power consumption can be adjusted in the terminal; determining whether a first target module exists in the modules of which power consumption can be adjusted if the current power consumption of the system is larger than or equal to the target maximum power consumption, wherein the current power consumption of the first target module is larger than the minimum power consumption of the first target module; and lowering the current power consumption of the first target module to a first target power consumption if the first target module exists, and then executing the determination of the current power consumption of the system. The present application improves the running reliability of the terminal under low temperature, enhances the practicability of a terminal, and improves the user experience.
