Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of transmission networks. Disclosed are a method and device for FlexE low-speed service processing. The method comprises: determining, on the basis of the size of minimal granularity services that need to be carried, the number of slots into which a FlexE frame needs to be divided, and dividing multiple consecutive FlexE frames as a whole into slots, thus allowing each of the divided slots to carry one of the minimal granularity services, and allowing the total number of payload code blocks of the multiple FlexE frames to be divided evenly according to the number of slots. A client service is mapped to the slots of the FlexE frames and is transmitted outwards via at least one physical channel. The method in the present invention for FlexE low-speed service processing satisfies a demand of an operator with respect to a low-speed service and prevents the wastage of a large amount of bandwidth.
