Abstract:
A method for operating an UE in a wireless communication system, according to some embodiments of the present disclosure, comprises the steps of: generating a source link for transmitting/receiving data to/from a source base station; receiving, from the source base station, a radio link control (RRC) message including configuration information to be handed over to a target base station; operating a timer in response to the reception of the RRC message; transmitting, to the target base station, a message to be handed over to the target base station while the timer is operating; and determining on the basis of the state of the source link whether to trigger RRC re-establishment, if the handover to the target base station fails until the timer expires.
