Abstract:
A method and device for managing video data, a terminal, and a server. The method comprises: detecting whether a first vehicle has an accident (201); sending a first request to a server when it is detected that the first vehicle has an accident (202), the first request instructing to acquire first video data which is driving record data of a second vehicle during a preset period of time before and after the accident occurs, the second vehicle being a vehicle within a preset range of the first vehicle when the accident occurs; and receiving the first video data returned by the server (203). Waste of valid data is avoided, and the effective utilization rate of an automobile data recorder is improved.
