Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a powder molded body, comprising the steps of filling powder material (17) into a cavity formed of a die (12) having a die hole (11) in a shape matching the contour of the power molded body and a lower punch (13), temporarily compressing the powder material (17) with an upper punch (14) and the lower punch (13) so as to provide a preform (18), inserting a punch-out pin (15a) into the preform (18) so as to punch out the shape of a through-hole (3), pressurizing and compressing the preform (18) by both upper and lower punches (13, 14) so as to provide a powder molded body (19), pulling out the punch-out pin (15a) from the powder molded body (19) and taking out the powder molded body (19) from the cavity (16), sintering the powder molded body (19) and cutting a part of a peripheral wall (16) of a through-hole (25a) so as to form a pair of leg parts (24) connected continuously at a base part (23) and an undercut part (25) between both leg parts (24), retracting and storing the punched-out powder material (17) to the outside of the cavity (16) for use to refill a through-hole (3) from which the punch-out pin (15a) has been extracted, and removing the refilled powder material (17) after taking out the powder molded body (19).
