Abstract:
A method and a device for measuring a body temperature, and more specifically, a body temperature-measuring method where measuring time is shortened with measuring reliability maintained and also a body temperature-measuring device using the method. A temperature-measuring head (13) has a temperature-measuring portion (21) pressed and brought to be in contact with a person to be measured, and a heat-insulating member (13b) inside the measuring head. When the temperature-measuring portion (21) is pressed and brought into contact with a measuring portion of the person, a thermistor (32) and a heater (33) that are inside the temperature-measuring portion (21) are arranged in a substantially closed space formed by the heat-insulating member (13b) and the person. In this state, direct heat transmission between the thermistor (32) and the outside air is less likely to occur, and the temperature of the thermistor (32) is first raised to a temperature higher than a body temperature of the person by actuating the heater (33) and then cooled down to the body temperature of the person using the person as a heat sink. In this process, a time rate of change of a measured temperature is obtained. When the time rate of change is checked and confirmed for a predetermined number of times that it is in a predetermined range, the measured value is considered as a body temperature. With the method above, measuring time can be shortened with measuring reliability maintained.
