Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for video processing. A method for video processing is proposed. The method comprises: determining a cost during a conversion between a current video block of a video and a bitstream of the video, the cost indicting a degree of distortion between two target blocks of the video and an amount of information for refinement of coding data of the current video block; refining the coding data based on the cost and the two target blocks; and performing the conversion based on the refined coding data. Compared with the conventional solution, the proposed method can advantageously reduce the coding bits while maintaining the coding quality.
