Provided are a method and a device for migration of application instance, and a computer storage medium, comprising: capturing, by a source mobile edge host, a snapshot of a source application instance; and performing the snapshot synchronization between the source mobile edge host and a destination mobile edge host, so that the destination mobile edge host restores the running of the snapshot synchronized to the destination mobile edge host, wherein the snapshot being a running space of the source application instance at a capturing time, the running space comprising a running process and status information. The destination mobile edge host receives the snapshot of the source application instance sent by the source mobile edge host, the snapshot is restored into a destination application instance on the destination mobile edge host, and the destination application instance is run on the destination mobile edge host. When the destination application instance is run, the running is performed in accordance with the running process and the status information of the snapshot.
