Abstract:
A method and device for monitoring a plant in a planting apparatus. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a viewing request with respect to a plant in a planting apparatus, the viewing request carrying information of an area to be viewed; determining a target planting range for the plant in the planting apparatus corresponding to the area to be viewed; determining a target image capturing device corresponding to the target planting range, the total field of view of the target image capturing device being greater than or equal to the target planting range; controlling the target image capturing device to capture a plant image of the target planting range; and transmitting the plant image of the target planting range to a requesting party. The application of the method and device provided in the embodiments of the present application allows a user to view in real-time the growth state of the plant in the planting apparatus when viewing at the site of the planting apparatus is inconvenient or not present at the site of the planting apparatus, thus implementing the goal of monitoring the plant in the planting apparatus for the user, and enhancing user experience.
