Abstract:
A method and device for monitoring the quality of a gas. The method comprises: acquiring a volume flow rate of air and a volume flow rate of a gas (S101); determining whether a ratio of the volume flow rate of air to the volume flow rate of the gas is greater than a preset threshold (S102); and if so, determining that the quality of the gas has changed and there is a greater likelihood of knocking (S103). In the method, a volume flow rate of air and a volume flow rate of a gas are monitored in real time, and then a ratio of the two volume flow rates is obtained from calculation and compared with a safety threshold, such that whether there is a greater likelihood of knocking can be determined conveniently and quickly, and a corresponding knock suppression operation can be quickly performed to suppress occurrence of knocking. In the method for monitoring the quality of a gas, prediction of knocking is performed by monitoring the quality of a gas source and does not require installation of components such as a knock sensor, thereby maximally reducing development costs.
